EC 6 was a 1966 AEC Reliance 590 (6 speed synchro) with Duple (Midland) C49F coachwork, owned by British European Airways and operated on their behalf by LTB from the former tram depot in Chiswick High Road (now known as Stamford Brook Garage).   There were eight ECs (EC 1 - 8, KHM 1 - 8D) used on the Executive Express passenger transfer service between the West London Air Terminal and Heathrow.  The roof beacon was used when the coaches went 'airside'.   EC 6 is at Heathrow Airport on September 1st 1969.
