Date: 27th May 2001 Event/Location: AEC Society Rally, Newark Showground Description: Roger Muxlow's lovely AEC Mercury Mk I was acquired in very poor condition three years ago. It is ex London Brick Co, first registered on December 1st 1954. Chassis number is GM4RA.039 - the oldest surviving Mercury?? The cab is by Duramin and Roger has retained the fleetnumber "29" as that was its number at London Brick. The treaded hexagonal hub covers on the front axle are of interest.
