Ian Fordyce's A.E.C. Matador Mk III (chassis 2472 004) ex-Sydney County Council and now painted in the maroon and cream livery of Banoon Electric Light Co. It has had a new cab as the original was beyond repair. Wooden cabs do not survive well in the Australian climate making trucks like this very expensive to repair, so there are not very many AECs from this era left. Nominally a Mandator, some exported type 2472s were badged as Matadors.   (Steve Parrinder)
