ROUTEMASTERS IN BUCKS
The erstwhile Wandle District enterprisingly registered a small series of commercial services to & from special events such as bus rallies at steam railway centres, exemplified here by RM47 & RML2615 at the Buckingham Railway Centre at Quainton Road near Aylesbury on 29th August 1988.  Privately-owned RM1571 ran as a duplicate.

Stockwell Garage's RML 2615 had made the long run from Central London as a 623, complete with correct white-on-blue "Express" blinds, and would spend the day on special local route 23 (with quite a complex schedule!) serving such delightful Metroland hamlets as Brill, Verney Junction and Tinkers End.
